I think I figured this out – as I said earlier, I do not hear any “vais” and I do not think she says “je vais faire”. She is saying “Ce soir, je ferai un gigot d’agneau”. This seems to be grammatically correct, and it explains why I could clearly hear the “r” in what I thought was “faire”, but “je faire” did not make sense, but “je ferai” does make sense.

      Hi Sandeep,
thank you for the comment. She says, ce soir je vais faire un gigot d’agneau.

I agree that I actually hear “juhai faire” but that is one of the possible variations of “je vais faire.”
Sorry to have gotten behind on responding to your comments!
      Best regards,
      David

I have listened carefully, I do not hear “vais”, to me it sounds like <>. The only problem is that I hear the “faire” very clearly and if there is no “vais” it should be “je fais”, and it is not. This one is puzzling because it is generally pretty easy to hear everything this interviewer says.
